Sharing God's Word

Romans 10:14-15  How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

Evangelism is God’s plan for bringing a lost and dying world to Christ, so that through Him everyone can have the hope of eternal life (John 3:16). The Lord’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) is central to who we are at the South Fayette Church of Christ. We practice individual evangelism, and we also support those preaching God's word through our weekly contributions. Christians cannot keep the wonderful message of the Father’s love to ourselves; we must do everything we can to share it with others! We trust that God will give the increase after we have planted the seed.

Fayette County Jail "Clergy" Program:
Our congregation also has the blessing of conducting several weekly Bible studies in our local Fayette County jail. Volunteers from within our congregation give their time to conduct these hour-long studies for both male and female inmates, and it has been a source of spiritual growth and encouragement for all involved.
