Our 2019 Theme

Our 2019 Theme

Join us at South Fayette Church of Christ as we focus on growing in the grace and knowledge of our Savior in 2019.

“So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander.  Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.”  1 Pet. 2:1-3

The need to grow is necessary for all Christians. We all develop at different speeds but our growth should be in the same direction – to be more like Christ. Our development begins when we commit ourselves to Christ and must continue our whole lives.

In 2019, the South Fayette Church will focus on our spiritual growth as the people of God. Because the process of growth never ends, we will encourage one another as Christians to be true to the commitment we made to Christ – to become rooted and grounded in the Word, and grow more like Him every day of our lives.

“We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.”  Heb. 2:1 By always moving forward in our effort to be more Christlike, we will prevent our faith from drifting. Spiritual maturity can be a challenge – it is hard work requiring from each one of us a solid commitment, a clear plan, and diligent action in carrying out that plan.

Relying on the strength which God supplies, we can accomplish any and all tasks He has given us! “We can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us.” Phil. 4:13 Join us as we focus on our commitment to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.

“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Rom. 15:5-6
