WHAT IF...?

Often times when studying with someone or just in casual conversation about the Bible, someone will ask a “what if…” question. This is especially true when baptism is the topic. Instead of us looking at it in terms of things we cannot control, let’s consider what we can control. – AB

- What if God couldn't take time to bless us today…
Because we couldn’t take time to thank Him yesterday?

- What if God decided to stop leading us tomorrow…
Because we did not follow Him today?

- What if we never saw another flower bloom…
Because we grumbled when God sent the rain or snow?

- What if God didn’t walk with us today…
Because we failed to recognize it as His day?

- What if God took away the Bible tomorrow…
Because we failed to read it today?

- What if God took away His message…
Because we failed to listen to His messenger?

- What if the door of the church was forever closed…
Because we didn’t open the door of our heart to worship
and praise His name and fellowship with His people?

- What if God stopped loving and caring for us…
Because we failed to love and care for His others?

- What if God treated us like we treated others?

- What if God would not hear our prayers today…
Because we took Him for granted yesterday?

- What if God answered our prayers…
The way we answer His call for servant-witnessing?

- What if God met our needs…
The way we meet the needs of oth-ers about us?

- What if God was as committed to us and our future…
As we are committed to Him and His future?
