Weekly Studies
Journey Through the Bible
We are in the midst of a year-long "journey" through
the Bible. The emphasis is to go beyond memorizing periods and events
(although we are in fact going through memorization of them), but
to see God's eternal plan unfold through history regarding the Savior
of this world (Jesus Christ). Would you like to join
us in our study (2 Tim. 2:15)?
Every other Monday night at 7:15 PM - Rotating
from house to house. These studies are based upon the request of
brethren that is relevant or pertinent to the local work in south
Atlanta. We are in a study of the Psalms.
 Every
Tuesday at 10:00 AM - church building. The women of the church
use this opportunity to study with each other. Various women take
turns teaching a series of lessons, or various subject matters as
it relates to their walk in the Lord. The ladies are beginning a
study of the Book of Esther and will be using a study book called
The Power of a Praying Wife, by Stormie Omartian.
Monthly Teen Studies
Each Friday (before the 4th Sunday) our teens (Jr. High through
college age) come together to study God's word in helping them to
become humble servants of Jesus Christ. The remainder of their time
is to have them enjoy each other's company.
Evangelism 2008 - Back From South American Trip
After one month in Colombia and Ecuador, this third trip to S America
was primarily to see the grace of God in the lives of our brethren
in Ecuador and Bogota, Colombia (cp. Acts 15:36). The emphasis of
teaching was to strengthen Christians on having and preparing for
"Biblically Blessed Families". You
