History
The South Fayette church begin it’s work July 01, 1990 following
the pattern of the New Testament church. As the years followed,
we were blessed as the church continued to grow in the grace and
knowledge of our Lord (2 Peter 3:18). As we grew spiritually we
also grew numerically and on April 13, 2003 we relocated from a
temporary facility to our new building location at 1348
GA-92 South, Fayetteville, GA 30215. The Local church
is made up of 105 members at this time. Our primary goal is to serve
the Lord our God following new testament teachings and make disciples
of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19-20)

Evangelist
Mitch Davis (and his wife Julie) began working with the South Fayette
church in May, 1995 after laboring with churches in Missouri (Kansas
City, Macon, and Kirkwood). His work is to do the work of an evangelist
(2 Tim. 4:5) in the preaching of God's word. He has been preaching
the gospel full time since 1992. Recent evangelistic trips include
Mariupol, Ukraine (2004) and South America (Bogota, Colombia and
throughout Ecuador - Amazon, Andes Mountains, Pacific Coast - in
2005,
2007,
and 2008.
Back From South American Trip
After one month in Colombia and Ecuador, this third trip to S America
was primarily to see the grace of God in the lives of our brethren
in Ecuador and Bogota, Colombia (cp. Acts 15:36). The emphasis of
teaching was to strengthen Christians on having and preparing for
"Biblically Blessed Families". You
can view the report here.
