Our 2018 Theme
Life has its ups and downs. Too often, the downs linger and pull us lower, even to the breaking point. Is there any help for us? Yes, indeed. God is our help, our strength, our savior. (Psalm 46;1-2)
In 2018, the South Fayette church will be focusing on trusting God for the power to deal with and overcome life's struggles and heartaches. Through scripture, prayer, song, study and action, we will be emphasizing God's providence and grow to be more trusting and dependent on Him to get us through our difficult times.
Special lessons will be presented the first Sunday morning of each month designed to help us develop greater understanding of God's providential care and to encourage us to apply it daily in our lives.
God knows our every weakness and has graciously granted His mercy to help us in our times of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16)
Life beats us down, but with God, we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:9) God did not promise to remove the pain, struggles and pitfalls of life, but He has promised to be there to lift us up when we fall. (James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:6)
This series will benefit all who hear it and we invite our friends and neighbors to come study and worship with us throughout the this year.
As we all grow in His word, we will see
that when we can't, He can!
